CISSP — Certified Information Systems Security Professional Practice Exam
Practice technical and managerial judgment across all eight current CISSP domains, from security and risk management through software development security.
Choose an ethical, explanation-led practice course for CISSP, CCSP, ISSAP, ISSEP, ISSMP or CSSLP. Compare the official role focus and domains first, then apply the CertShield community coupon on the exact Udemy course.
ISC2 uses certification abbreviations such as CISSP and CCSP as the public exam identifiers; the official outlines do not publish vendor-style exam codes. Choose by role, experience and scope rather than searching for an invented code.

ISC2 quietly splits its own catalog by exam engine. CC, SSCP, CCSP and CISSP now run on Computerized Adaptive Testing (CAT) — CCSP moved to CAT on October 1, 2025. ISSAP, ISSEP, ISSMP and CSSLP remain linear, fixed-form exams. Both formats pass at the same 700-of-1,000 scaled score; only the item count, delivery logic and fee differ.
Security and Risk Management; Asset Security; Security Architecture and Engineering; Communication and Network Security; Identity and Access Management; Security Assessment and Testing; Security Operations; Software Development Security.
Format: CAT, 100–150 items, 3 hours. Fee: US $749.

Use the outline active on your scheduled exam date. Through July 31, 2026, the current weighting is 17%, 20%, 17%, 17%, 16% and 13%. Beginning August 1, ISC2 keeps the same six domain names but changes Cloud Application Security to 16% and Cloud Security Operations to 17%, with revised subdomains.

Recalled, leaked or stolen exam questions undermine exam integrity and can violate candidate agreements. CertShield does not provide CISSP dumps, CCSP dumps, brain dumps, live questions or guaranteed-pass material.
A safer alternative is an original ISC2 practice exam that uses the public domain language, tests scenario judgment and explains why an answer fits. Use the official outline as the source of truth, then use mock tests to identify knowledge gaps—not to memorize alleged exam content.

ISC2 positions Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) as its entry-level certification and lists no required work experience. CISSP and CCSP are designed for experienced professionals. Choose the credential that matches your current role and verify eligibility with ISC2.
ISC2's current public certification and exam-outline pages identify these exams by credential abbreviation and full name. CertShield therefore targets CISSP and CCSP name variations without inventing unsupported vendor-style exam codes.
CISSP covers broad technical and managerial security across eight domains. CCSP is a cloud-security specialization covering data, applications, infrastructure, operations, architecture and compliance across six domains.
Not always. Experience, endorsement, ethics and membership requirements can apply. Candidates without the required experience may qualify for an Associate of ISC2 pathway for several credentials. Follow the official certification page for your situation.
ISC2 states that the revised CCSP outline becomes effective August 1, 2026. Prepare against the outline in force on your scheduled examination date.
